Hi, my name is John Burns and I am a personal injury attorney. I represent people who have been injured in personal injury cases. I’d like to tell you about a few of the cases I have handled so you know a little bit more about what a personal injury case is.
One case was a defective product case. In that case, people had artificial hips implanted that turned out to have been manufactured defectively. They had to have a second operation just to take that defective hip out and put the new hip in. I achieved substantial settlements for all the people I represented in that case.
Another case was a major crash case. I represented a lady on an Amtrak train in New Mexico when the train derailed and she was thrown violently from her seat to the forward part of the cab, injuring herself very badly. Again, a substantial settlement for that case just before trial in Los Angeles Federal court.
The third type of case is premises liability. I represented a guest at a ski lodge at Mammoth Lakes, California who slipped on ice at the entrance to the lodge, shattering his leg badly and had to have surgery with pins and rods installed. Again, a substantial settlement in that case just before trial.
So, if you or someone you know has had a personal injury case and would like to talk to me about it, please feel free to give me a call at 949-496-7000 or email me at john@johnburnslaw.com.
